The Contemporary Memory Foundation contributes to the obligation of rememberance of what once was, rendering all its shades and infinite human variety as they were then. We wish to give the floor to those men and women who were left aside by history.  Personal memory processes do not grow along the lines, and sometimes even contradicts, the requirements of scientific history methodology. We take great care and attention to these tensions, though inevitable often fruitfull, emerging between the process of individual memory and the requirements of scientific history critical methodology.
